Theresa May addicted to QVC

British Prime Minister Theresa May has told the Daily Chronicle that she sometimes spends as long as twelve hours a day watching TV shopping channel QVC.

“I can’t help myself,” she admitted. “I know I’ve got a problem, but I’m seeking professional help and I’m sure I can still turn my life around.”

The problem first came to light when reporters spotted large parcels and jiffy bags being delivered to Number 10 on an almost hourly basis.

“I began by just buying jewellery,” May confessed, “But then I started to purchase larger items like pressure cookers and on one occasion a patio rug.”

QVC was founded in 1986. It broadcasts to more than 350 million households worldwide, and features celebrity presenters such as Andi Peters and Ruth Langsford off Loose Women.
